This website collects nothing about you unless you type it into the contact form and press send. We do not sell or rent information to anyone, and we do not use what you send us for anything other than answering you.
The form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, the subject you need help with, and your message. Everything you type into the form, including your phone number and any description of your tax situation, is processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service, which emails it to jeff@hocketttax.com. Web3Forms handles that information under its own privacy terms. We keep the email as long as we need it to respond and to maintain our business records.
Please do not put Social Security numbers, tax documents or bank details in the form.
Information you give us as a client is confidential. Tax professionals are also bound by federal rules governing the use and disclosure of tax return information, including Internal Revenue Code section 7216. We do not disclose your tax information to anyone outside the firm except as you direct us or as the law requires.
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers. It loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when a page loads; that request is subject to Google’s privacy terms. Booking an appointment opens Calendly, our scheduling provider, and anything you enter there is subject to Calendly’s privacy terms.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep. Write to jeff@hocketttax.com or call (623) 257-3048. Records we are legally obliged to retain, such as copies of filed returns, we have to keep.
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date below.
